Why Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man works so well
The reason why Toby Maguire spidey is so good was because of the way everything happened so accidentally. You really felt dork struck gold
The guy was a top neek. Almost no friends. Lives In pure poverty. Went to this trip & got bit bit by a spider. Falls asleep ill from it.
...goes bed, wakes up the next day expecting to still be sick. Wha? Whole body buff. White Simeon Panda
Feels fantastic, runs for his bus, gets violated and misses it. Discovers spidey grip (accidentally) when he rips off poster from bus
Wha? Super glue hands yeah? Goes into an alley way and climbs wall "accidentally" for the first time. You really thought this was happening.

The acting was that natural. & you just sat there in awe thinking damm this lil white boy lucky af.
Remember when he was sleeping & they showed the chemical changes in his body for him to turn spider man? Skshsjshsj
Then man discovered the webs; WHAT?! I was more shocked than Toby Maguire when I saw that. He spent hours trying to figure it out again!
That scene was jokes. Now he's discovered he's white Anansi. Yes. Now he can get his Mary Jane. All man has to do is cop a whip. It's lit.
But wait; he po! How's he gonna make the cash to buy the whip? The wrestling match. Remember how he "accidentally" saw that in the paper?
He didn't even know what to call himself. He fully made his own costume & spent ages thinking of a name.
Remember how he discovered his spidey senses?

Evvvvrything seemed purely accidentally and extraordinarily lucky...til Uncle Ben died. Now you're finished. Your own uncle has also died
Then you're vex with Peter for letting d cunt go when he robbed ol fuckboy who jerked you with the cash. U JUST wanted to please MJ MAN-NER

Everything up until that point. Where Uncle Ben died seemed purely by chance. Every single event. & Peter Parker decided to use all this...
To fight for good and help the common people. THAT'S why the film is so wavy; the way he went about it for the rest of the film cemented it.
He juggled school and banged it even though things went left a few times. This super hero was ACTUALLY relatable. He's a normal human being!
All this while playing it cool with the love of his life. Graduating, getting his first flat & still Fucking shit up in the streets. G'd up.
This Spider-Man Homecoming? The waviest visuals you'll ever see. But it's so superficial.
I grew up in this era of Spiderman.Marvel managed to translate it almost perfectly into the movie world. So early in the Marvel universe too.

But it's ok. This movies good too. Just not on that level. But I'm more than happy for this current Spider-Man to take the lead.
