The stages of consciousness
Ok essentially, each circle shows the output of each stage of consciousness in this here physical reality. Inside your body is your soul, and inside that is your spirit (not the same as soul) which connects to source consciousness (what you call God).

Your body has 5 main senses (there's more but these are the most common ones). These are outputs. Your soul, housed in your body. Has 5 main outputs too. In other words, you experience consciousness in 5 aspects. Memory, imagination, reason, affection & consciousness.
Really, consciousness should've been called awareness. Let's just clarify on what consciousness is. I call it the thing behind your eyes. The thing you see from, smell from, taste from, touch from & hear from. That's why they put consciousness behind the 5 senses.
In saying that, consciousness (or awareness) has three following aspects, imagination. What you literally conjure up in your mind. Memory. The experiences that you retain from past physical experiences, either a few seconds ago or in the distant past. Your emotions. What you feel
Reason. How you use logic.
And lastly, right back to consciousness, what you're aware of. Have you noticed anything about the second circle? None of those 5 aspects are physical. You won't find them anywhere in the body. You can argue you'll find memory & reason in the brain.
And that you'll find emotions in the heart. And if that's the case then I guess I should say that the second circles output is less physical than the first. Does that make sense? Now let's go to the last most inner circle. Spirit. See how it only has one gate?
Spirit only has one output. True will. Spirit is the thing that connects you to the highest heaven with God itself. Remember the definition of magick? The act of causing change in conformity of will. Does the pic make sense now? Will is the most important thing. Then imagination.
Here's the thing. Now the look at the picture again and go backwards from the inner most circle to the outer most circle. Firstly, when magickians want to manifest something, will is the most important thing. If you don't have the will enough for what you want to happen it won't.
Once you have enough will. Which you build up by keeping focus on what you want, you(it) pours it out into the second circle, the variables of the soul. Now that WILL, will be behind each output of the soul in your mind. You imagine it with will, you feel it with will.
You reason with it with will, you remember what you willed (with memory) and keep that memory growing fonder while you focus on will with consciousness (awareness) the practice of meditation is what magickians do meditating for. To strengthen each of the 5 aspects of the soul.
Once the magickians has done that. The manifestation lives inside them. Now they need to bring it to this universe so it materializes & this is the most important aspect. We arrive at the last circle. The circle of the body.
If the magickians wishes to manifest what they want outside into this world it needs to come out through each physical sense. This is why they speak their spell (affirmations) to output their manifestation through the mouthgate and then to hear it with the ear gate.
Then sigils, or the spell written down are looked at intensively, so the will leaves through the eyegate and in touching the sigil (via making it or otherwise) the touchgate is activated. This leaves only the smellgate. How do they activate that? This is inscencse comes in.
You know how strongly smell is associated with memory right? Sometimes it's not always incense, just smells that the will can leave through the smellgate (does that make sense). Weather it be putrid smells or beautiful odours. Sometimes it's a combination of all senses in rituals
That's why you have the singing, dancing, repeated mantras. That's at least 3 gates being used. Touch, hearing and sight. The magickian can employ any other method they want to activate the other 2 senses. Does this thread help you significantly understand the picture and magick?
