Pandora's box and the Ark of the Covenant

Hold on i just realised something Pandora's box might have been the arc of the covenant from a Greek perspective.

You know why I say this? Do you know where the term scapegoat comes from? During the the old testament a rabbi with authority to use the arc of the covenant would; once a year. Take all the sins of the people in that region and direct them into the goat. 2 goats actually.

One goat was released into the wild with all the sins and the other was sacrificed with the blood sprinkled onto the arc of the covenant. In doing so, you've library karmically cleaned the people involved of their sins. If you direct all the sins of people into the goat then box;

& in Greek mythology, there's a box that contains all the evils of the world... Then wasn't that their version of a arc of the covenant? & That opening it without authority led to the sins contained being released into the world?
